Terms of Service
In short: this is free, open-source software provided as-is under the MIT Licence. You run your own copy, you are responsible for it, and nothing it produces is medical advice.
1. What is being offered
The Google Health MCP Server ("the Software") is open-source software distributed under the MIT Licence from github.com/Novrax/fitbit-googlehealth-mcp.
What is offered is the source code, not a service. There is no hosted product, no account to register for, no subscription, and no uptime commitment. By downloading, deploying or using the Software you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.
2. Licence
The Software is licensed under the MIT Licence, reproduced in the repository. You may use, copy, modify and redistribute it on those terms, which require the copyright notice and permission notice to be preserved.
The Software is derived from tachibanayu24/fitbit-googlehealth-mcp, also MIT-licensed.
3. Your responsibilities
When you deploy an instance you are its operator. You are responsible for:
- registering and safeguarding your own Google Cloud OAuth credentials;
- the security of your Cloudflare, Google and Claude accounts;
- keeping the endpoint secret confidential, and rotating it if exposed;
- any charges incurred on the third-party platforms you deploy to;
- complying with the terms of Google, Cloudflare and Anthropic, and with any law that applies to you.
Use the Software only with health data you are entitled to access — normally your own.
4. Not medical advice
This point is the most important one on this page.
The Software surfaces data from consumer wearable devices and allows a large language model to summarise and comment on it. Consumer wearables are not medical instruments, their measurements are estimates, and language models generate confident text that can be wrong.
Nothing produced through the Software constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a professional opinion of any kind. It must not be relied upon to detect, diagnose, prevent, monitor or treat any condition, and must not be used to make decisions about medication, treatment or whether to seek care. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional. If you think you are having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
5. Third-party services
The Software depends on services operated by others — the Google Health API, Cloudflare Workers and Anthropic's Claude. Those services are governed by their own terms, may change their interfaces or pricing, may impose rate limits, and may be withdrawn. The Software's authors have no control over them and make no commitment that it will keep working if they change.
6. No warranty
The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. No warranty is given that it is accurate, complete, error-free, secure, or available at any time.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the authors and copyright holders are not liable for any claim, damages or other liability — whether in contract, tort or otherwise — arising from the Software or its use, including but not limited to data loss, incorrect or missing health data, unauthorised access to a deployment, service interruption, or any decision taken on the basis of information the Software presented.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Changes
These terms may be revised; the current version is always the one on this page, with its date above, and the full history is public in the repository. Continued use after a revision means you accept it.
